January 21, 2001: "B
y N Dominical" (Spanish Sunday Newspaper Supplement) - "During the last several years...Franco
has shot a series of films which are fundamentally vanguard, hallucinagenic, diverse, intoxicating, and collectively brilliant
(with) a small American production company, One Shot Productions." - Juan Manuel de Prada.

"BROKEN DOLLS is among Franco's
most mature work as a director. His best film in decades, it seriously treats the themes of repression and insanity, bringing
new insight into the filmmaker's body of work. Burying much of his renowned fixation with sexual themes into a simmering oeuvre
that often approaches a breaking point of unbearable tension, BROKEN DOLLS is one of his most accomplished films." - Louis Paul, "McFarland Books."

SNAKEWOMAN &
DR. WONG'S
VIRTUAL HELL
Double Feature DVD
"With SNAKEWOMAN, Jess
Franco reexamines themes that were prevalent in some of his earlier works...Franco does a splendid job with the limitations
of shooting on video. The scenes are framed beautifully and each shot is a wonder to behold. He uses a few camera tricks to
good effect, especially with his shots of flamingos that make the bird almost seem like some sort of alien creature.
- Douglas A. Waltz ("www.cultcutsfilms.com" March 2006)
DR. WONG’S VIRTUAL HELL is comedic genius from the odd, high-pitched accents
that are used throughout to the kooky, lenticular eyeball glasses that are used to represent the virtual reality experience,
but only succeed to giving the characters a disjointed look...the tongue is definitely placed further in the cheek. Thankfully,
it’s usually one of the curvaceous cheeks of Ivalia Ivars, who is always up for some decadent Franco goings on. As a
double feature, this is prime Franco and is probably his best work in some time. - Douglas A. Waltz ("www.cultcutsfilms.com" March 2006)

January 18, 2003: "Sirens
of Cinema" (American News Section) - "German siren CARINA PALMER (is) abhorrently creepy...INCUBUS
is decidedly over the top with all sorts of excesses sure to horrify the typical American audience. - John Marks.
Re: LUST
FOR FRANKENSTEIN... "Franco's Frankenstein pictures are always crazy, but also fascinating...(Michelle)
Bauer is good, bringing a measure of dignity to a character that could easily have degenerated into a broad FRANKENHOOKER-type
comedy, and (Lina) Romay attacks her role with her usual complete abandon, contrasting moments of severity and tenderness,
awkwardness and steely chic. - Tim Lucas, "Video Watchdog" (Issue #68).
"...slick, erotic (and) sadistic..."
- Tim Greaves ("Samhain")
"...a fresh sexy twist on THE
MOST DANGEROUS GAME." - Ron Bonk ("B-Movie Magazine)
"...the ultimate...in
the coming years will be viewed as a classic!" - Louis Paul ("World of Fandom")
